Projects & Case Studies

Below is a selection of communications projects from my work with NGO programmes and donor-funded interventions. Each case study outlines the challenge, the approach, and, where possible, the result.

CASE STUDY 1
Strengthening the Resilience and Reintegration of Children Formerly Associated with “Non-State Armed Groups (NSAGs)” and Vulnerable Children (VC) in the Northeast of Nigeria, funded by UNICEF
 Donor/Partner: UNICEF
Implemented by: Search for Common Ground
The Challenge

I was working in communities affected by conflict and displacement in North East Nigeria.

The programme was making real progress on the ground, facilitating the reintegration of returnees and building dialogue between host and displaced communities. Still, this work was not being communicated effectively to the donor,  partners, or the public. Visibility materials were inconsistent. Success stories were not being captured.  The donor’s branding requirements were not being fully met.

What I did

I was brought in to lead the communications function for the programme.

CASE STUDY 2:
Digital Campaign Management – Social Media Growth &  Audience Engagement
The Challenge

Search for Common Ground Nigeria had an active social media presence but no coordinated strategy. Posts were irregular, engagement was low, and the channels were not contributing meaningfully to the organisation’s visibility or programme goals. There was no content calendar, no analytics review process, and no consistent brand voice.

What I Did

I took on the role of digital communications lead and built the organisation’s social media function from  the ground up:
